POST-GRADUATE STUDIES


hello everyone, in this occasion I will talk about post-graduate studies. The truth is that, I have not considered studying in a Master´s Program. Nevertheless, I am still studying social work a undergrad career, and my opinion can change. In this case, I would study a certification, because these do not last a long time and they have a time very flexible, in this way, I would can working and studying. I wold like that the certification has relation with intervention in the community or changes and innovations organizational communication. I like to study subjects that are related with society, either for understand, intervene or transform society, because as I said in a previous blog, for me, is essential to have direct contact with people. In the case of studying after finishing my career as a social worker, I would like it to be in Chile, because in my country exist some certifications that attract my attention, therefore it would not be necessary to go to other country. I would also like my postgraduate studies to be face to face, since I had two years of online classes and it was very exhausting psychologically (too much time in front of the computer). However, face to face classes are more motivating and I can understand the subject much better.

CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAM

  Hello everyone, today in this blog I will talk about changes to my study program. I am studying social work, this career lasts 10 semesters (5 years) and in each one of the semesters I have between 5 and 6 subjects. I am in my second year and so far I have had subjects that require different times of study. Although the professors use different methods to teach, I believe that they should implement more audiovisual methods (videos, documentaries, films, etc.), since in my opinion this method causes more interest in the students. In the same way, although the " nucleus" seem to me subjects very striking and innovative, I think that inside of the 10 semesters of the career it is necessary to have some "practice". I also think that apart of the libraries, the faculty should provide study rooms, where the students can organize work, read or carry out different activities related with the career. The best concert ever

Hello everyone, in this opportunity I will talk about the best concert ever. It was two months ago, in the cultural center of Puente Alto, I went to the concert of the authentic decadents. This is a argentinean band, composed of twelve members, they sing multiple genres mix (pop, cumbia, ballad, rock, etc.) and among their most successful songs are "el murguero" and "la guitarra". The atmosphere during the event was very exciting, everyone was very motivated, sang and danced the songs. I was very happy to listen to the songs live and enjoyed the concert because los auténticos decadentes are one of my favorite bands (in my opinion their songs are unique). These artists attended the Puente Alto Festival (this was the first festival done in Puente Alto) and were one of the best presentations. This was the first concert I went to with my Friends (although not all my friends knew this band), so it is a very special memory for me. Thanks for reading my blog this week :...

English Language Challenges

Hello everyone, today I will talk about my experience learning English at university. In my opinion, the face to face English classes at university are great, but the online classes weren´t that good. This year, I understand more than the last year, because the classes are very didactics, the subject of the listening and reading are contemporary (a example are the interview to famous artist).   The blogs were very useful for learn new vocabulary and have a better composition. I also like the blogs, because they allow me to know more about my classmates (their opinion about the topics of each week). I think that I have many things that need to be improved in my English, such as my pronunciation or my limited vocabulary. I also need to have a better ear to understand other people when they speak in English, but I think that I just need to work harder and continue to practice.
